Academic Triathlon 2017

Apr 27th, 2017

This is Annunciation's second year participating in the Academic Triathlon. Academic Triathlon encourages positive risk-taking by challenging triathletes to discover, refine and demonstrate their combined strengths and abilities as a team.  The Academic Tri is a dynamic way to nurture creativity, teamwork and real-world problem-solving skills.  Students compete in three distinct events - Party In a Box (improv), Mind Sprints (cooperative problem-solving) and Face-Off (knowledge bowl).

During the regional competition, two of our Annunciation teams advanced to the State Tournament.  This past weekend, our sixth-grade team, (Griffin M, Ben E, Michael L, Madie H, Olive C) took first place and clinched the state title at an all-day event in Cottage Grove.  Congratulations to all six Annunciation teams for their stellar accomplishments this year.  Outstanding!

A big shout-out of gratitude to Ms. Steege for coordinating our six teams and hosting several multi-school meets at Annunciation.
