    Understanding the grief process and the many emotions involved in working through one’s grief can help make the journey less painful. Guest speakers share their own experience and professional knowledge on grief and loss. Weekly meetings include small discussion groups that follow each week’s speaker and are led by trained facilitators.

    A huge thank you to APO and the Trivia Night 2016 chairs, Jenny Sharp and Angie Swan, for a fun, successful evening! Proceeds from the evening will go towards making the playground improvements. Watch for more on the initiative to upgrade our playground area for all our students. We are so grateful to everyone for their generosity and dedication to Annunciation!

    We would love to see all of our school families together to celebrate! The theme this year is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” We invite students to wear their uniforms and spirit wear to show their school pride. 

    Join us for the waffle breakfast after mass, too! Great way to kick of this wonderful celebration and show thanks to our parish for their support of Catholic education at Annunciation.

  • 01/14/2016 6th Grade Girl Scouts Earn Bronze Award

    Eleven girls in Troop 14210 (6th grade) earned the Bronze Award from Girl Scouts this year.  This is the first of 3 awards and each girl was required to spend at least 20 hours to earn the award.

    Enrichment, Weekender

    Sixth-Grader, Libby Z, is our 2016 Annunciation Geo Bee Champion. After 8 rounds, Libby and 7th grader, Primo M, battled it out in a three question Championship Round. 

    In the next few weeks, Libby will take a qualifying exam to determine whether she advances to the Minnesota GeoBee.

    Time for the Annunciation Geography Bee!

    Break out your atlas, study the news, fire-up your map-making skills and get ready to show your knowledge of geography at the Annunciation Geography Bee.  Our Annunciation Geo Bee will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Our 3rd – 8thgrade students will assemble to cheer on our finalists! Friends and family are welcome.   Mr. Chuck Nixon will be our event moderator. 

    The winner of our school Bee will take a test to qualify for the MN State Bee.  The MN Bee Champ qualifies for the National Geo Bee in Washington D.C.
