03/04/2016 Library & Technology Updates
The Library's Biggest Event is Here!
Did you know that approximately ninety percent of the library's budget comes directly from the Scholastic Book Fair? Every day supplies such as the materials to create the bar coding system and protective plastic for popular books are purchased with the proceeds of the book fair. Anne Clubb was also able to add shorter, 'pre-school' sized sorting bins to the library along with new books for Annunciation's youngest learners.
Be on the look out for the Teacher Wish List for classroom books and also a Teacher's Pick section if you need some help picking out books for the readers in your house. The Scholastic Book Fair, "Peace, Love & Books" will be open Sunday, March 6 - Friday, March 11. Please see full details below.
Congratulations to the Annunciation Red 2nd and 3rd grade girls basketball team on a successful season! The team played a game every Saturday at Blessed Trinity and worked on dribbling, passing and shooting skills. They had a great season and really worked well together as a team!
