05/23/2016 Sacrament of Confirmation News
Dear Annunciation Parents,
On the weekend of April 30th & May 1st, I preached a “State of the Parish” homily at all the Masses. In this homily I addressed many different areas of parish life – finances, capital needs, Mass attendance, my vision for our parish, etc. I also spoke about how beginning next year we will move the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation from 10th grade to 8th grade. On Thursday evening May 5th at our “State of the School” meeting, I also talked about the change in the timing of Confirmation. This letter is intended to provide more information about why this change is being made and answer some questions you may have.
