07/17/2018 12 Apostles+ Mulch Work Party
A BIG THANK YOU to the 19 hard-working parishioners and skilled crew that re-mulched our flower, rain & rose gardens plus hedges, fence & retaining wall areas on Tuesday, July 10. This was in addition to regular duties of weeding, lawn mowing, tree trimming, edging, planting & more. Folks agreed it was a successful & fulfilling project to beautify the entrances to God’s house at Church of Annunciation.
Congratulations to Chrissy Fritzen for being named a Pastoral Musician of the Month by David Haas & the Emmaus Center for Music, Prayer and Ministry.
"Generosity. Amazing generosity. Lavish generosity. And – HOSPITALITY. These words only begin to describe Chrissy Fritzen. She has something to teach all of us when it comes to selfless giving and welcome to everyone – it just oozes from her."
In keeping with our commitment of building lifelong learners, we want to provide our students with the best tools to enable them to thrive in the digital world.
The IB learner profile strives for global thinkers and international-mindedness, shifting the traditional focus from teaching to learning. We think we can help prepare students to be inquirers, reflective thinkers, and better communicators through a 1-to-1 student Chromebook initiative. A Middle School Social Studies pilot was coordinated during the 2017/2018 school year and was a huge success! We’re ready to launch the 1-to-1 program for all students (grades 6-8) beginning this fall in 2018.
