Discover the Way Retreat for 5th Graders

Apr 28th, 2017

On Thursday, April 27th of this week, our 5th graders participated in their Discover the Way Vocation Retreat. They spent the whole school day with a team of people representing the vocations of priesthood, religious life, married life, single life and the diaconate. The team also included 8 De LaSalle high school team members, some of whom are Annunciation School graduates.

We hope that through this retreat they received some good guidance from us and inspiration from the Holy Spirit so that they can love the God who calls them to explore with open hearts God’s call  – in the present in their vocation as 5th graders, as well as in the future with the vocation that God has in mind for them. In all the choices they will make along the way, we want them to know our support prayer for them that they will be open to God’s call.

Jesus said, “I have come that may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)  Let us remember our 5th graders and all our students in prayer that they will meet the God who calls them with generous hearts.
