IB Exhibition in 5th Grade

Sep 29th, 2017

This morning our 5th-graders and their parents gathered to learn about an exciting new addition to Annunciation School - EXHIBITION.

Exhibition involves the grade 5 teachers and students, the IB/PYP Coordinator, the Library/Media Specialists, the Principal, parents, students´ former teachers, and the entire Annunciation community. During Exhibition, students are expected to inquire into a real-life issue, and to take “action” on this issue. Action can be in the form of creating awareness, making a positive difference or affecting change. The central idea for the Exhibition unit is: A person's passions, interests, and responsibilities can lead to action.

Save the date: Exhibition dates for the 2017-18 school year  May 15th (for students) and May 16th (evening).

"A goal of the Exhibition is for our students to realize that they can make a difference, even in seemingly small ways, on a variety of levels, using the knowledge and skills that they have acquired through their education to make the world a better place."
