Annunciation School turns 100 this fall!

Centennial Fund $500,000 Challenge Match
Last week at the outdoor SeptemberFest Mass, I was happy to announce that as we
celebrate our school centennial this year, we seek to raise 1 million dollars for needed
facility repairs and scholarships. The great news is that a few kind and generous donors
have generously offered a $500,000 challenge match, which means that each dollar
given will be matched dollar for dollar up to $500,000. All we need to do now is raise
$500,000 and we’ll hit our million-dollar goal! I thank those who have offered this
generous match which gives us all an added incentive to generously participate in this
campaign.
In this campaign we are reaching out to everyone and anyone who has been blessed by
our school over the past century. We’re connecting with alumni, parents of alumni,
former teachers and staff, current school parents, current staff, parishioners, and past
parishioners. Everyone is invited to be a part of this great effort!
We need your help as we reach out. If you know of someone whom you think we should

We commend this effort to the Blessed Mother who was first to receive the news of the
Annunciation when the Angel Gabriel came to her. Through her prayers may this
campaign be a success and lay the foundation for the next hundred years.

 Annunciation Catholic School will be celebrating our 100th year in South Minneapolis this coming school year! On September 10th, 1923, four Dominican Sisters opened Annunciaton Catholic School with 72 pupils enrolled.
