Welcome New Staff

We are excited to introduce you to new teachers who are joining our incredible team at Annunciation Catholic School. Each of them has attached their own personal letter of introduction as well.

  • Ashley Salvo – Ashley was introduced last spring and is our middle school math teacher. She attended a K-8 Catholic school and graduated from the University of Michigan.  After graduation, she served in the Minnesota College Success Corps, an AmeriCorps program.  Ashely holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University, with licensure in mathematics 7-12.  She has tutored students at all levels of math, from elementary to post-secondary, and has taught sixth and eighth grade math in Minneapolis. 
  • Emily Fuller – Emily will teach English/Language Arts in middle school.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communication Studies from St. Cloud State University with licensure in secondary education grades 5-12, Communication, Arts, and Literature. In addition, She is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Education program at Augsburg University. She is passionate about Catholic education and is a life-long learner who is anxious to help her students reach their goals.
  • Mikayla Pellegrene – Mikayla will be teaching 5th grade. She has attended Catholic schools for her entire education. She graduated from The College of Saint Benedict with a degree in Elementary Education. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for Catholic education in her classroom and getting involved in the Annunciation community in any way she can.

Additional Updates:

  • Middle School ELA/Interventions – we are in the process of hiring this position and will update you once we have the position filled.
  •  Sheila Loschy – IB coordinator – Sheila, currently a first grade teacher, will be leading the staff in continuing the IB journey at Annunciation as IB coordinator. While she will continue in her role as first grade teacher, she will be working with our leadership team and coaching teachers to continue to build this student-centered learning for our staff, students, and school. Her passion and commitment to inquiry education fuels her wish to lead this initiative at Annunciation.
  •  Enrichment programs – partnering with CSCOE, Annunciation will focus on increased enrichment in all classrooms along with continued classes for students for Enrichment. We have a team of staff who are creating the additional enrichment classes for students. More details to come as the year begins.
