Why do we give? We give because of God. Because everything we have is from Him and we are called to share all that He has given us. Why do we give to Annunciation Catholic Church? Because it is where we receive Jesus in the Eucharist at Sunday and weekday Mass. It is where we receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and pray in Adoration. It is where our sons received the Sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion, and our oldest son will soon receive Confirmation. It is where we have grown in our knowledge of the faith through retreats, Bible study and fellowship. 
 
We came to Annunciation as “lukewarm” Catholics in 2008, which we eventually discovered, is not the best place to be according to Revelation 3:16.  Annunciation has set us on fire for the Catholic faith. Annunciation is helping us reach our final destination of eternal life with Jesus. Thanks to Annunciation we are no longer “lukewarm” Catholics.  We give to Annunciation because this is a place where our family grows in holiness, where, as we like to tell our sons, we become saints.  And that’s why we give!
