- Demonstrate competencies in writing formal papers, including (but not limited to):
- Five paragraph essay
- Biography
- Myth
- Structured research paper.
Grade 7 Curriculum Highlights
Students will:

Grade 8 Curriculum Highlights
Students will:
- Learn to read and answer questions based on comprehension, interpretation, and evaluation.
- Be exposed to a variety of literary genre by reading novels, short stories, poetry, mythology and nonfiction.
- Learn literary terms and devices through direct study within the context of the literature they are studying.
The major goal is that students become lifetime readers.
